RFQ & Quotation Terms

These terms apply to every Request for Quotation posted and every quotation submitted through the portal.

Role of the portal

The portal is a discovery and communication platform. It is not a buying agent, broker, bidding authority or party to any contract between a buyer and a supplier.
The portal does not evaluate, rank or endorse quotations, and never declares a winner. Award decisions belong entirely to the buyer.
The portal does not handle payments, contracts, deliveries, warranties or disputes arising from a transaction.

RFQs must describe genuine business requirements and must be posted by a person authorised to do so.
Buyers must not publish confidential documents, personal data or payment details in public RFQ content.
Buyers are responsible for their own due diligence, supplier selection, contracting and compliance with applicable Philippine law.
Posting an RFQ does not oblige a buyer to award it, and a buyer may close or cancel an RFQ at any time.

Quotations must be accurate, complete and honoured for their stated validity period.
Suppliers must clearly mark alternative or equivalent offers, partial quotations and items they cannot supply.
Suppliers must not misrepresent certifications, capacity, stock availability or authorised-dealer status.
Suppliers must not use RFQ information for unrelated marketing or share it with third parties.

Buyer contact details are never published. A buyer may choose to keep the company identity confidential.
Quotations are visible only to the buyer who posted the RFQ, the submitting supplier and the portal administrators.
Clarification threads are private between the buyer and one supplier. Competing quotations are never disclosed.

Deadlines are expressed in Philippine time (Asia/Manila). Quotations cannot be submitted after an RFQ closes.
A buyer may extend a deadline; matched suppliers are notified when this happens.
Quotations expire automatically once their validity date passes.

Fraudulent, misleading or duplicate RFQs, fake buyer identities, spam, price manipulation and requests for illegal or restricted goods are prohibited.
Reported RFQs and quotations are reviewed by portal administrators, who may suspend or remove content and accounts.

The portal does not guarantee that an RFQ will receive quotations, that a quotation will be shortlisted or accepted, or that any sale, purchase order or contract will result.
Supplier verification confirms submitted business documents only. It is not a government accreditation, endorsement or guarantee of performance, quality, pricing or delivery.
Advertising and membership are completely separate from RFQ matching, quotation visibility and buyer decisions.
